Alliance Care Specialists delivers family-centered care across two service lines in Georgia.
Pediatric (GAPP-aligned skilled nursing): one-to-one RN/LPN support from a highly professional team with 17+ years of pediatric experience. We specialize in airway & complex respiratory monitoring (trach/vent, suctioning, oxygen), central line & infusion therapy (CVL/Port access, dressing changes, infusion oversight), enteral feeding & nutrition (G-tube/NG setup, site care, meds via tube), wound/ostomy/skin integrity, and seizure/respiratory monitoring—with clear documentation, safety checklists, and consistent staffing.
Elderly Home Care (Private-Pay): stabilization and daily support that help older adults live safely at home. Services include hospital-to-home transitional care, memory loss & dementia support, family respite & overnight coverage, medical & mobility transportation (wheelchair and, when clinically indicated, stretcher/ambulance via our licensed capabilities/partners), home safety & fall-prevention, and medication management & chronic-condition support.
We partner closely with parents/guardians, DFCS/child-placing agencies, physicians, therapists, schools, and DME/RT providers—plus families and care managers in senior care—to stabilize care at home, reduce readmissions, and keep routines predictable. To equip the whole circle of care, we offer free, hands-on caregiver trainings (certificates included) and no-cost Lunch-and-Learn sessions for community organizations and nonprofits—so every plan is safe, consistent, and sustainable at home.

Our Services
In-Home Pediatric Skilled Nursing (RN/LPN) — GAPP-Aligned, Highly Professional Team
Operating under Georgia’s GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program), we provide one-to-one, in-home care for medically fragile infants and children, including hard-to-staff, high-acuity cases. Care is delivered by a highly professional team of rigorously vetted, pediatric-trained RNs/LPNs (17+ years collective experience), supervised by our Head Nurse, with ongoing competencies, clear documentation standards, and family-centered bedside conduct.
Airway & Complex Respiratory + Neuro Monitoring
Our pediatric-trained nurses deliver comprehensive tracheostomy and ventilator management at home—daily site care, circuit checks, suctioning, humidification, and oxygen therapy—paired with vigilant seizure and respiratory monitoring. We maintain emergency readiness with checklists, spare trachs, and escalation protocols, and coordinate closely with pulmonology, ENT, neurology, RT, schools, and DME partners to keep settings accurate, supplies stocked, and children safe in every environment.
Central Line & Infusion Therapy
We provide sterile CVL/Port access, blood-return verification, flushes, and dressing changes, alongside careful infusion oversight (antibiotics/biologics) and pump programming verification. Our CLABSI-prevention practices, meticulous documentation, and rapid escalation pathways reduce infection risk, while coordination with specialty pharmacies ensures timely deliveries, proper supplies, and caregiver confidence with line safety at home.
Enteral Feeding & Nutrition Support
From G-tube/NG pump setup and programming to site care, granulation-tissue monitoring, and medication administration via tube, we turn complex routines into calm, repeatable steps. Families receive shoulder-to-shoulder coaching, laminated quick guides, and clear escalation criteria for intolerance, clogging, or dislodgement—while we collaborate with pediatricians and dietitians to track growth, tolerance, and hydration.
Wound, Ostomy & Skin Integrity Care
Our evidence-based approach covers wound staging, cleansing, and dressings; ostomy appliance fitting and leak troubleshooting; and proactive skin-integrity plans (padding, repositioning, moisture control) to prevent device-related pressure injuries. We emphasize comfort and infection prevention, teach caregivers early-change recognition, and use photo-assisted documentation (per policy) with measurable goals to guide steady healing at home.
Care Coordination, Foster Support & Training
We create family-centered care plans and align them with real-world routines through close communication with physicians, DFCS/Child-Placing Agencies, therapists, schools, and DME providers. For new or complex foster placements, we offer rapid staffing plus FREE, hands-on clinical trainings (with certificates) led by our Head Nurse—strengthening caregiver confidence, reducing readmissions, and stabilizing home placements through consistent check-ins and clear documentation.
Memory Loss & Dementia Support
Calm, dignity-first care for clients living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. We build predictable daily rhythms, provide cueing for bathing, dressing, meals, and medications, and use gentle redirection and meaningful engagement (music, reminiscence, simple activities) to reduce anxiety and wandering risk. Safety supervision, hydration/snack prompts, and bedtime routines help stabilize the day. When ordered/appropriate, Georgia-licensed RNs/LPNs administer medications, monitor skin/weight/behavior changes, and share clear updates with the medical home—so families get steadier days and fewer crises.
Medical & Mobility Transportation (Wheelchair & Stretcher)
Door-through-door, medically appropriate transport to clinics, dialysis, imaging, and post-op follow-ups. We coordinate wheelchair rides and—when clinically indicated—stretcher/ambulance transports through our licensed capabilities/partners, aligning with physician orders and payer rules. Drivers and attendants assist with secure transfers, oxygen per order, and hand-offs to facility staff. We confirm appointments, manage timing, and provide simple trip summaries—reducing missed visits, long waits, and the stress of arranging rides for complex needs.
Home Safety & Fall-Prevention Program
A practical, room-by-room approach to reduce avoidable injuries and keep aging adults confident at home. We review lighting, rugs/cords, bathrooms, stairs, and transfer points; suggest simple fixes (grab bars, shower chairs, rails, non-slip mats), and coordinate with DME vendors when requested. Caregivers reinforce safe ambulation, gait-belt use, and timed toileting; provide exercise cueing from provider guidance; and build morning/evening routines that lower risk. When ordered/appropriate, nurses monitor vitals/edema and escalate changes promptly—turning safety plans into daily habits.
Hospital-to-Home Transitional Care
After a hospital, rehab, or ER visit, we help older adults settle in safely and follow discharge instructions. Our team supports bathing, mobility, medication reminders, and light meal prep while aligning routines with physician orders. When ordered/appropriate, Georgia-licensed RNs/LPNs handle medications, injections, and simple wound care with escalation pathways. We coordinate follow-ups, pharmacy pick-ups/escort per policy, and clear vitals/observation notes—reducing avoidable readmissions and the stress of recovery for families.
Family Respite & Overnight Support
Reliable coverage—by the hour, evening, or overnight—so primary caregivers can rest, work, or travel. We handle personal care, safe transfers, toileting, evening/morning routines, and light housekeeping tied to care. Companions provide continuous safety supervision and engagement; medication reminders keep schedules on track. If nursing is ordered/appropriate, Georgia-licensed RNs/LPNs manage medications and basic wound care with timely escalation. Predictable respite prevents burnout and stabilizes home life.
Medication Management & Chronic Condition Support
Daily help to keep complex regimens on track and symptoms in check. We set up pillboxes, provide reminders, document adherence, and watch for side effects or red flags tied to conditions like diabetes, heart failure, COPD, or hypertension. Caregivers cue diet, hydration, and weight checks; coordinate refills; and share updates with providers. When ordered/appropriate, Georgia-licensed RNs/LPNs administer medications, injections, and basic wound care, and follow standing escalation pathways—turning plans into steady, sustainable routines.
Maria Hernandez, mother of Ava, Age 4
“Our nurse met Ava on day one with compassion and a clear plan. She set up the equipment, trained us on emergencies, and leaves detailed notes after every shift. We’ve had fewer late-night panics and Ava’s routine is finally predictable. I feel supported, heard, and confident.”
